Team Member Spotlight: Sarina Dickens - Preventia Security

Team Member Spotlight: Sarina Dickens

Meet Sarina Dickens. She is our Customer Service Specialist here at Preventia.

Sarina got her start in the security alarm industry nearly 4 years ago. This hard-working team member started as a part-time sales consultant for North Central Security Services. She then joined our Preventia family in November 2018 when North Central Security Services became Preventia. Sarina transitioned from sales to office administration, ensuring all of our customers have an easy and enjoyable experience. Before her time in the security alarm industry, Sarina was a cosmetologist with her own beauty shop for 22 years and no one is better suited to serving our customers.

With her background in managing her own business, as well as listening to customers, getting to know their needs, and helping to improve their lives, Sarina’s experience has helped to shape an individual perfect for helping. She not only processes customer work orders to ensure completion and satisfaction; processes payments to ensure customer accounts are up-to-date; and answers all inbound customer requests, Sarina measures success in the ability to “stay caught up enough to help any of my co-workers in any possible way.” Further proof that she is good at what she does is having others ask “hey, can I get your help for just a few minutes”.

Sarina embraced the transition to Preventia as a welcome challenge and new opportunity. She encourages others by always taking time to explain how and why we do things. We are fortunate to have an employee who exemplifies dedication and kindness. You won’t find a more caring individual anywhere! As a matter of fact, that unconditional concern for others expands beyond her job to her sweet family (with whom she prefers to spend her downtime) and to her joyful weekend work as a wedding coordinator.

If you don’t find Sarina taking care of a customer in our Lafayette office, preparing work orders or updating customer accounts, you might find this Macon County native with her horses or spending time outdoors with her husband and son!
